![]() It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Nicolaas Mostert. I have known Nicolaas since August 2005. I was impressed with him then and I am even more impressed with him now. As a school administrator he contributes with incredible leadership skills that have foster growth and recognition to our school community. Nicolaas has been my right hand and he is the person I have always trusted to be in charge of the school as acting director due to his ability to make sound decisions timely and effectively. Nicolaas educational background as well as his administrative training and international school experience made him a key player in our leadership team. He is a true professional who believes it is extremely important that a learning community can only function in an environment which enables everyone to be successful. He has diligently and successfully worked in many areas of the school. Nicolaas has fruitfully recreated personnel not only attending job fairs in the US but also using technology to communicate with prospective teachers in a very competent and professional manner. He has worked closely with our business manager in the preparation and implementation of budgets as well as the human resource personnel in helping expatriate teachers find housing and settled into their new life in Bolivia. He has been actively involved both with our local liaison for the Bolivian education department and has worked tirelessly for our SACS-CASI visit to re obtain our accreditation. One more time I must highlight that he has been a tremendous asset to our leadership team at SCCS. Mr. Mostert is a person who has a high level of emotional intelligence. He uses this gift to motivate his staff and students. Nicolaas’ leadership abilities have improved school spirit for students, and faculty dedication for their professions. Analia Denmon Mostert, Nicolaas’ wife, has been working at our school for the past eight years as well. She is in charge of a PK12 program for language acquisition (ELL/SSL) and has become a vital member of the support services at SCCS due to her experience and training in different resource areas such as reading recovery, differentiated instructions and learning needs. Both Analia and Nicolaas have made major contributions to the overall development of the school in academic and leadership areas. I have enjoyed working with Nicolaas during his tenure at our school. He is an individual open to suggestions, willing to assume new responsibilities, and who provides ideas that help school improvement. I highly recommend Nicolaas Mostert to any administrative position at your institution since he has a wealth amount of educational knowledge, a successful leadership record and multicultural experience to be in a senior position and bring positive and effective leadership to your school community. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional information.
