It is a pleasure for me to write a letter of recommendation for Nicolaas Mostert. He has been a great asset for our school as an administrator for the past eight years.  As Board President I participated in the process of promoting Mr. Mostert to Secondary Principal and Acting Director and he has diligently lead our school thanks to his exceptional leadership and administrative skills.

The position of a School Leader or Administrator is an extremely complex and challenging assignment. Nicolaas is a person who understands that complexity; he knows the range of responsibilities.  He is committed to the schools and recognizes their purpose. He knows how to lead and bring about change and, understands how to deal with the political and power issues involved in all leadership acts related to individual schools sections as well as foreign and local accreditation processes. He cares about all students and leads by example coming from a multicultural family respecting our differences and celebrating all cultures. He collaborates and fosters the contributions made by staff, parents, and members of the community.

To be a successful leader, you need to be trusted. Trust comes from a variety of sources - including one's knowledge, competencies, and integrity. Nicolaas above all else is an excellent and decent person. He is driven to do the things that need to be done based on a high moral purpose and always making decisions on the best interest of the student’s education.  I highly recommend Nicolaas Mostert to be the Head leader of any educational institution.
