I met Nicolaas Mostert in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where I was his student for two years, and later had the pleasure to work with him joining the SCCS staff. Nicolaas is a great professional who was always very helpful, approachable, and managed to maintain students and co-workers motivated all the time, creating an excellent working environment. At SCCS he was always the person to go to for problem solving, always inspiring respect towards others and positive attitudes.
